Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 slices lean ham
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  • Place one slice of ham and one slice of cheddar cheese on the wide end of each triangle.
  • Starting from the wide end, roll the dough tightly toward the pointed end.
  • Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking tray and brush the tops with beaten egg.
  • Sprinkle lightly with Italian seasoning.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes until the rolls are puffed and golden brown, then cool slightly before packing.

This flaky lunch is warm, cheesy, and incredibly satisfying.

The portable size makes it ideal for school lunchboxes or family picnics.

Serve with fresh fruit and vegetables for a balanced meal.
